A beer that truly paved the way for our industry was Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. We felt it was time to pay tribute to such an iconic beer. We used 100% Crosby Hops Cascade in the boil and dry hopped with even more Cascade, which delivers a beautiful punch of pine with a little bit of fruit. This could be our Head Brewer Brendan’s new desert island beer or better yet, fortress of solitude beer.

We always had the name for this beer, but the original concept went something like...What if the Emperor ruled a galaxy far far away AND also secretly ruled the Toy World? But alas it wasn't working creatively, so our designer John came up with the Superman + Scarface concept, and we loved it even more!
